Prof. Md. Emre G. PABUÇCU

In 2005, after achieving a high ranking in the Medical Specialty Examination (TUS), I began my residency training in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine. During this intensive five-year residency period, which laid the foundations of my academic career, I had the opportunity to work with and learn from highly distinguished and talented mentors in the field. I completed my specialty training in 2010 and subsequently fulfilled my compulsory military service at Girne Military Hospital.

After successfully completing my military duty, I was appointed as a specialist physician at Karaman Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Pediatrics Hospital as part of my mandatory public service. Upon completing this obligation, I joined Ufuk University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, in early 2014 as a full-time specialist physician. During this period, I completed a certification program in Assisted Reproductive Techniques.

In 2015, I was promoted to Assistant Professor, and in 2017, following a successful examination process, I was awarded the title of Associate Professor. In 2023, I attained the rank of Full Professor. In 2016, I spent three months in Houston, USA, receiving advanced training in in vitro fertilization (IVF) and endoscopic surgery. During my academic career, I have authored more than 30 international and over 40 national scientific articles, contributed as an author to more than 10 book chapters, and written numerous review articles in prestigious journals. I have delivered many oral and poster presentations at national and international scientific meetings and have received awards for my work at two international and two national conferences.

I am currently continuing my academic career at Ufuk University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. I serve as the principal investigator of multiple ongoing research projects and supervise postgraduate thesis programs.

Established in 2003, Centrum Women’s Health and IVF Center—one of the most successful IVF centers in Ankara—has also played a significant role in my professional development. I have been involved in various stages of its operations since its foundation, and it has been particularly influential in my training and experience in assisted reproductive technologies.
